Our mission is to create and sustain wealth in local communities through financial and housing education, housing advocacy, and real estate opportunities.
MAKING THE CONNECTION WITH HOUSING
We are committed to making sure that South Side residents have quality affordable housing through programs like Genesis Housing and the Micro-Market Recovery Program. View our work in West Pullman and upcoming housing workshops.
CREDIT, DELINQUENCY, AND HOME BUYING COUNSELING
Our organization has worked solely and in collaboration with not for profit and for profit partners to develop affordable housing. Our projects are a mix of new construction and rehab of vacant and foreclosed single-family and multifamily buildings. By leveraging public and private resources we have built 50 homes through New Homes for Chicago and City Lots for City Living, and 18 CHA replacement units. We renovated existing single-family homes under the Troubled Building Initiative II and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program using private funding sources.
